BMW X7 em 2018?

Enquanto espera pela divulgação oficial a 29 julho do elétrico i3, a revista alemã Auto Bild anuncia possíveis novos modelos da fabricante bávara.

Entre eles, seria de esperar um grande SUV chamado X7, cuja apresentação seria esperada para o ano de 2018.

Para se ter uma ideia de como seria este modelo, com três filas de assentos, foi feito este render.

Em qualquer caso, o X7 será baseado na próxima geração de X5/X6 e o objectivo é ter o menor peso possível, o que será conseguido através da utilização de alumínio, magnésio e fibra de carbono.

A gama de motores inclui o motor V8 bi-turbo diesel com uma potência superior a 500cv e uma versão híbrida. A Auto Bild mencionou que o modelo X7 M50d poderá ter mais de 400cv oriundos de quatro turbocompressores.

BMW M3i Sports Coupe Concept Envisioned as a Nissan GT-R Competitor of Sorts - Carscoops

We will have to wait and see how BMW's i8 plug-in hybrid sports coupe plays out and whether it will satisfy demanding drivers or if it will be more of a relatively fuel-efficient, high-tech cruiser with an equally high…price tag, but for those who like to work with their imagination, we have a new conceptual proposal from designer Alexander Imnadze to share with you.It's named the M3i to show that it embraces the lightweight spirit of the original M3 E30 and the more futuristic design language of BMW's new "i" series of eco-friendly cars.
Imnadze told Carscoops in an email that the M3i Concept rethinks BMW's Z- and M-branded products to create a high-end sports car capable of competing against the likes of the Nissan GT-R and the Aston Martin One-77.
Looking at the design drawings, we'd say the M3i study could even inspire a next generation Z4 M Coupe, or with a little bit of imagination, a new Z5 line of coupes, perhaps even an i6 two-seater coupe series that would combine a low-weight construction with a more performance orientated powertrain and chassis setup than the i8.

A ciência confirma: os condutores de BMW's são os piores

This is not the first time that the statistics calls the Bavarian car drivers worst, regardless of whether it comes to driving alone or traffic etiquette
Researchers from the University of Berkley in California conducted a study that confirmed that wealthier drivers otherwise relating to traffic regulations. Proved to be the worst drivers of BMW.

A sample of 152 cars showed that eight out of ten drivers to stop at a pedestrian street crossing, especially if you want to cross the path of women. At intersections without traffic lights, drivers of more expensive cars are regularly seized advantage of other road users.

It is interesting to note that the drivers of Toyota's hybrid car, the Prius, which is in San Francisco is considered a status symbol, showing a high propensity violation of traffic rules.
