Dodge Temporarily Restricts Orders Of All SRT Hellcats Due To Crazy Demand

In the realm of problems, this is a good one to have: Dodge has had to restrict new orders of the Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat until it can fill existing orders, because too many people want to buy the 707-horsepower cars.

That’s right, in 2015, and despite a small recall issue for a fire risk, there are so many people who want to buy a crazy-powerful American muscle car that Dodge just can’t keep up. That’s awesome.

As an FCA spokesperson told Motor Authority, “Due to unprecedented demand for the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats, we are temporarily restricting orders while we validate current orders that are in the system.”

You can read between the lines a little if you must, but that’s a pretty plain statement: the Hellcats are selling like hellcakes.

No que diz respeito a carros americanos sou mais um "Ford kinda guy" mas desde que vi o filme Nightcrawler o Challenger ocupou o lugar do Mustang nas minhas preferências.[br:)]
 
Este Challenger sobretudo o Hellcat é qualquer coisa de extraordinário[br:)]
Em relação ao Camaro/Mustang tem um carácter diferente enquanto estes dois últimos são mais virados para o comportamento o Challenger é mais um GT virado para o conforto e com maior qualidade interior.

Additionally, the improved muscle car will benefit from upgraded suspension, steering and brakes, along with the usual tweaks to the interior, which could see the introduction of sportier front seats and different trim. It will likely gain some exterior updates as well, including new wheels.
