Eu tenho um Skoda Fabia II e estou muito satisfeito com ele, adoro o carro, com muito espaço, condução agradavel, etc, só coisas boas a dizer... [br]

Infelizmente já risquei uma jante e ando a procura de outra mas ainda não achei [s)] (para por aquela como supelente... [] )

Apesar disso, tou muito contente com os consumos de 5.5l/6,5l que o 1.2l tem para me oferecer! apr

Skoda Yeti avança para produção

Skoda Auto will introduce several new vehicles at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show which starts in less than three weeks. The first of these will be the Skoda Yeti which is a vehicle based on the Yeti design study of 2005. It's designed for urban and off-road driving but without compromising on either experience.

The second Skoda scheduled for a Geneva debut is the Octavia GreenLine which is a member of the eco-friendly cars from the Skoda brand. The GreenLine features a 1.6 TDI CR engine that produces 77kW (105bhp) and 250Nm at 1900rpm. It comes with a diesel particulate filter as standard. Figures provided by Skoda show that the GreenLine engine will achieve 4.4 l/100km (64.2 mpg UK) with a C02 emissions figure of 116 g/km.

Additionally the new Fabia Scout will greet visitors to the Geneva Motor Show. The motorsport wing is not standing idle as it will be exhibiting the S2000 Fabia rally car.

Last but not least new EMO concepts are to be unveiled at the same Skoda stand. These are design studies that aim to show off the emotional expression of Skoda design team's talents.

A maior diferença no exterior é a perda dos faróis verticais na traseira.. Preferia como no concept.

Demoraram estes anos todos depois da apresentação do concept para apresentar... isto? Agora, depois de tanto tempo e tão pareceido ao concept, a versão final parece desactualizada, desajeitada e com um ar cansado.

Hum...sinto-me um pouco desiludido com este Yeti. Tinha grandes expectativas e saiu algo, na versão final, assim meio...fraquita. A frente, para mim, ainda escapa. Mas a lateral e a traseira são desinspiradas. Em especial esta última (acho-a mesmo antiquada!). Parece um roomster on steroids e mais quadradão.

O interior, mesmo só havendo esta foto, deve seguir a linha do Octavia e Superb, o que só abona a seu favor.

Bem, não sei se vai ter sucesso mas gostava que sim, pois simpatizo bastante com esta marca.

Tantos anos a apresentar concepts para sair isto? Até eu conseguia desenhar aquela traseira, só se safa se for barato, e com o 1.2 tsi é bem possível que isso aconteça.

Skoda Yeti Production Commences

Skoda Yeti Production Commences

The first Škoda Yeti rolled off the production line on 12th May. The Yeti is the fifth model in the current Škoda lineup. Before that a number of final pre-production tests were undertaken in and around the city of Oslo in Norway. This area was chosen because it offers a good variety of different roads and also diverse weather conditions.

Road conditions experienced by the testing team include steep hills - where the downhill assistant function was put through its paces - and forest roads. Key systems that were tested during these runs include the ventilation and air conditioning performance as well as the driving stability system.

Tested were the 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TDI 4x4 models which use the fourth-generation Haldex clutch system. Other engines in the range include a 1.2 TSI with 77kW (103bhp) and a 2.0 TDI with 81kW (109bhp). The Yeti has a ground clearance of 180mm which should come in handy in mild off-road excursions. Standard wheels are 17 inches wide.

Škoda says the 4.2m-long crossover is quite spacious and offers a flexible luggage compartment whose volume can be increased up to 1760 litres using its VarioFlex rear seat system.

The first UK deliveries of the Yeti will begin this September.
