O Campeonato vai ficar decidido já domingo!
Acaba por ser pena, um campeonato que começou tão renhido acabe tão “prematuramente”.

Este SF71H é bem capaz de ser dos melhores carros de F1 a não conquistar o título!

Bem, pelos vistos também houve ali uma ajuda extra no power da unidade eléctrica que não estaria 100% legal...
O Mercedes continua a ser um excelente carro com um excelente motor.
Também houve ali uma ajuda com sapatos feitos por medida, portanto ficam quites as duas equipas [

Devemos ter mas não me parece que se deva atribuir muita importância a esta penalização
. Na FP2 o Hamilton esteve inalcançável mesmo que numa aparição fugaz. O homem e o carro parecem estar a um nível diferente dos demais.

Lewis acerca do uso de pneus da Scuderia na FP1 e FP2
"It wasn’t about the risk. It was more just we have a certain amount of sets of tyres and if it rains tomorrow in qualifying and [final practice] we want to use those other sets that we have and save them for qualifying. When the tyre’s brand new it has sharp edges on the tyres. For example a tyre that’s used, once you scrub the tyre in you start to tear those edges up and what that means is it doesn’t get rid of the water quicker enough. You have less grip and less efficiency. Naturally when you do qualifying you want fresh, brand new tyres to have as many shots at it.
But I see the Ferraris just pounding around, destroying their tyres. They’ve gone in [second practice] again pounding around and they’ve got no tyres left. So if it is wet tomorrow they’ll have one set less than us. It might not hinder them too much but we think more long-term. I could pound around and do 10, 15, 20 laps and it wouldn’t make a difference, I’d still be able to do the time that I did. You can find some things on your laps but better to do it in qualifying, or [final practice] at least."

Essas jantes têm sido alvo de alguma polémica, supostamente ajudam e muito no aquecimento dos pneus.

A história das jantes é uma vergonha.
A Ferrari até os espelhos teve de alterar e as jantes que supostamente reduzem em muito o calor no eixo e por esse motivo a degradação dos pneus é bastante menor a FIA não faz nada.
Curiosamente foi desde que adoptaram estas jantes que a Mercedes começou a dominar.

Não deve chover muito na FP3 e Quali, para a corrida estão a prever sol.

Porque o VET (e ocon) apanha esta penalização e o HAM com aquela entrada nas boxes so levou uma reprimenda?
