Guntherwerks has cemented themselves right at the top of the Porsche 993 resto-mod food chain. Their re-engineered cars have wide bodywork, powerful N/A and Turbocharged engines, and put down performance figures on track that rival brand new Porsche GT cars.
But at a certain point it all gets to be a bit much, and that moment is now. The F-26, a fighter plane-themed variant on their Turbo models, is a slant-nosed, caged, extreme example of what GW can do. It's limited production, even more so than the limitations of a seven figure price tag, Making 1,067 horsepower, 750 lb/ft of torque, the Rothsport engine is a marvel, for sure. It was even the quickest road-legal car up the Goodwood Hillclimb in 2026. But with only 2,700 lbs (claimed) to push around, this is one of the most terrifying and exhausting cars I've ever driven. It is not for the faint of heart, wallet, or hearing. If you buy one, you will become all three.
