E 9 lugares não deve ter... provavelmente 7.

Grand Touring: 1735 mm (68.3 in)The Mazda CX-9 is a full-size crossover SUV built by the Japanese automaker Mazda alongside the smaller Mazda CX-7. It offers third-row seating, and replaces the Mazda MPV minivan for North America. The CX-9 was unveiled on April 13, 2006 at the New York International Auto Show. The CX-9 is manufactured at Mazda's Ujina 1 plant in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan and went on sale in February 2007. The CX-9 competes with the redesigned 2008 Toyota Highlander, Nissan Murano, the all new 2007 Hyundai Veracruz, the redesigned 2009 Honda Pilot, as well as General Motors' Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave.
The CX-9 is built on the Ford CD3 Platform. Although it is similar in appearance to the smaller Mazda CX-7, the CX-9 will share little of that vehicle's platform components. It is a front-wheel drive vehicle with an optional four-wheel drive system.

The 2007 CX-9 was the first Mazda to use the 3.5 litre Cyclone V6, called the MZI in Mazda guise. Standard safety equipment includes Dynamic Stability Control, traction control, Roll Stability Control, front side impact airbags and three row side curtain airbags. The CX-9 will offer options such as DVD navigation system, handsfree Bluetooth phone link, backup camera, rear entertainment system with Bose 5.1 surround sound.

For the 2008 model year, Mazda increased engine displacement to 3.7 litres. Mazda states that the new engine generates 204 kilowatts (273 hp) and 366 newton metres (270 ft·lbf) of torque.[1] The new engine went into production in June 2007 at Mazda’s engine plant in Japan. The new CX-9 uses Aisin sourced six-speed automatic transmission with a console-mounted shifter in a complex Mercedes-Benz-like gate.
The 2008 CX-9 won the prestigous Motor Trend SUV of the Year award, beating of such competitors as the Buick Enclave and Nissan Rogue.[2]

Feio todos os dias. Isso já nem é um SUV é qualquer coisa cruzada de SUV com uma carrinha. Volumoso como um SUV mas comprido e baixo como uma carrinha.

Está bonito o SUV, mas ao mesmo tempo, confunde-se facilmente com o CX-7. Parece que só lhe mudaram o comprimento, ou seja, parece que pegaram no CX-7, esticaram o SUV e deram-lhe outro nome.
